Making an appointment.
We run all our surgeries by an appointment only system.
The appointments line is open 8.30 am for morning appointments on the current day, 2.00 pm for afternoon appointments (Note: Dragon Cottage closed Thursday afternoon)
Appointments can be booked either in advance or on the day by telephoning during normal surgery opening hours, in person or via online access.

this is a very convenient way to book or amend your appointment.
The surgery has a mix of on the day booked appointments and routine appointments which are usually available up to 2 weeks in advance.
Genuine emergencies will always be seen where possible. If no appointments are available you can be booked for a triage telephone consultation where the duty doctor will contact you as soon possible.
We will try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice, but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor.
All appointments are for 10 minutes but should you require longer, please advise us at the time of booking so that we can allocate a longer appointment.
We try to run to time but if an appointment does run over, please bear with us if you have to wait. We expect patients to turn up on time and operate a 10 minute late policy whereby if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you will be asked to rebook for another date or time unless you have contacted us to advise that you are delayed in which case you may be offered to be seen at the end of surgery is possible.
Please inform reception if you suspect an infectious disease, as this will enable us to deal with it appropriately during your visit to protect you, other patients and staff.
PLEASE CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU NO LONGER NEED IT IN ORDER TO PROVIDE SPACE FOR ANOTHER PATIENT
Cancelling unwanted consultations allows us to offer the appointment to someone else. Your help and early notification of a cancellation will help us to reduce unnecessary delay for other patients wishing to see the doctor.
We operate a strict policy on patients who fail to attend appointments without good reason and after appropriate warning patients can be removed from our surgery list.
